Abstract In this paper, a concentrating photovoltaic system (CPV) by using compound parabolic concentrator and monocrystalline solar module has been designed studied theoretically under concentration ratio of 3.16x. The performance the is over course day from 8:00 AM to 16:00 PM for 12 months Iraq-Baghdad conditions. Current in short circuit (I sc ), voltage an open (V oc ) as well maximum power (P m are calculated with without constant temperature (25°C). results indicated that optimum value output can be obtained on June 21, which about 246.9W CPV. second part, effect cell within range 25 °C−115 °C its year, 21st. device may viewed CPV 246.9 W comparison flat PV module, gives 83.44W 25°C decreases 125.3W 40W 115°C respectively.
